Campanile Chanas Restaurant sur Chanas

We stayed one night at this pet-friendly hotel. It's very close to the motorway. The welcome was very friendly. The room was simple but clean, although the shower tiles were showing their age. The king-size bed was good quality. All the usual amenities were provided. The varied sweet and savory breakfast buffet was very good. The hotel restaurant is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Not a big deal, as there are several restaurants nearby. There's a Courtepaille supermarket right next door, and a shopping area 1.4 km away with shops, restaurants, and a petrol and electric car station. There are areas for improvement. It's a shame we weren't informed upon arrival that our dog wasn't welcome at breakfast. There was no one to greet us at breakfast; just a semi-attended person in a bathrobe on the phone. The sink in the room was too low. Bring smaller pillows to give you a better choice. There were black marks on the bathroom door. The toilet paper was too thin.

Great hotel for a stopover, very friendly staff. Because we were traveling with a dog, the staff member changed us to a ground-floor room, which was very helpful. Everything was clean and fresh. The most important thing for me is always having a secure parking space because I have a trailer towing the car. The gate closes from 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM and can only be opened during that time with a code. We'd love to come back.

We stayed three nights at this hotel. Overall, it was okay but not perfect. On the first day, the toilet in our room was clogged, and in the second room, the hairdryer didn't work. Also, I can't say the hotel was very clean… for me, cleanliness-wise, it's a 2.5/5. For a 3-star hotel, it's still acceptable, but a bit pricey for the quality. On the other hand, Joaquim, the receptionist, is a really respectful and pleasant person. The secure private parking with automatic gate and cameras is a real plus. The hotel is located in a quiet area.

The hotel is close to the Route du Soleil, making it ideal if you're traveling south. We received a friendly welcome, but the room was small and only had one chair for a double room. Showering requires a slippery bathtub with no support. The breakfast, however, was fantastic and deserves a 10 in itself.

For one night, good value for money. Very welcoming, secure parking, comfortable beds, quiet location, and convenient access near the motorway. The only downside was a slightly dated bathroom.
