We'd been wanting to go for a while and frankly, we weren't disappointed at all; in fact, we were quite surprised to find such a beautiful establishment in Rillieux. Go without hesitation.

The portions are generous and the value for money is compelling, thanks in particular to a varied selection that caters to different tastes. SERVICE ★★★★☆: The welcome is generally warm and professional. The staff is available and attentive. Overall, the experience remains positive and enhances the enjoyment of the meal. AMBIANCE ★★★★★: The setting is original and inviting, with tasteful decor and a lovely terrace that is much appreciated on sunny days. The atmosphere invites you to spend a pleasant time, whether with family or friends. MISCELLANEOUS: The establishment has a customer parking lot as well as street parking. It is accessible to people with reduced mobility and offers high chairs, making it suitable for families with children. HIGHLIGHT: The quality of the food, the generous portions, and the welcoming atmosphere. WEAKNESS: The consistency of service could be improved to ensure a flawless experience on every visit. SUPPLY FOR IMPROVEMENT: Continuing efforts to maintain consistent service and occasionally adding seasonal specials to the menu would further enhance customer loyalty.

I have mixed feelings about this experience. I'm trying to leave a constructive review, not tear down the team who, I assume, did everything they could. We had reserved a large table for lunch, and despite ordering our dishes in advance, we waited as long as the other diners, who arrived gradually. Not everyone was served at the same time, and there were mistakes. I think they should have declined the reservation if it wasn't possible to properly fulfill the order. Furthermore, we felt like we had to justify every request, even though the dishes and their contents were clearly listed in black and white on our order. There was a clear lack of organization. The staff, probably under pressure, seemed neither professional nor friendly. (That's a fact.) It's a shame because, apart from that, we were generally happy with the quality of the food. I hope you will improve on this point in the future, or perhaps we just caught you on a bad day...

Don't let the uninviting storefront put you off. Inside, you'll discover a beautiful, well-decorated dining room with plenty of space. I ordered duck breast with a gratin and mixed vegetables. The duck was cooked to perfection, the gratin seemed a little small (but I had trouble finishing it anyway), and the vegetables were nice and crisp, just the way I like them. A truly wonderful find!

Excellent French cuisine. Nice wine cellar and helpful recommendations. Pleasant service. Affordable prices. Lively at lunchtime. Quiet in the evening. Terrace available when the weather is nice. Easy and free parking.
