Tiny, cute, delicious, adorable, and friendly. I came here after reading the good reviews on the website and was surprised by the slightly small but very welcoming dining room. Good, seasonal, local dishes. And above all, big smiles and genuine warmth. I highly recommend it.

We were in Dijon for the day and ate at Carpe Diem. We received a very warm welcome and were served local, traditional cuisine quickly. We had a great time, and the price was reasonable for the quality!

Very welcoming staff, explained every item on the menu to me in English. Amazing food and service, if you want some traditional French food here is worth a visit.

Few simple places truly deserve such accolades. This place does. The food was excellent. My wife loved her chicken and our friend raved of his kidneys with mustard sauce. He never eats dessert. Last night he made an exception. My wife also succumbed to the Chocolate pudding. The frogs legs were so tender. A simple but sufficient wine selection. A Husband and Wife team that know their stuff. Reservations recommended.

Stopped by here on Saturday night, and it was a great experience. Small and nice place, completely full of people (you have to make a reservation here!). Lovely relaxed atmosphere. The service was very good, fast and precise and very very nice. A highlight in itself. The menu was small but very good, local food. We had frog legs for a starter, delicious. We drank Cremant de Bourgogne with this. The wife had cod, while I chose beef cheeks for a main course. Both served with vegetables, delicious sauce and ratatouille. The wife chose a white chardonnay while I went for a red pinot noir - very good. Two very good dishes! We finished with a cheese platter, three lovely cheeses. We didn't have room for dessert. All in all, this was absolutely fantastic. We highly recommend the place!

A very reasonable menu for the price. The poached eggs were delicious, but the snail croquettes were less enthusiastic. The beef bourguignon was excellent, but the fish was a little overcooked. We weren't thrilled with the tarte tatin. The wine prices were a bit excessive.
