We were quite disappointed by the restaurant owner's behavior, who made some inappropriate remarks.
The meal was disappointing, with a limited menu and some dishes missing... only one dessert option (ice cream)! There were no daily specials because, and I quote, "the chef didn't have any ideas that day..." And to top it all off, the aperitifs were overpriced!! We only realized this afterward!!
We won't be back! And we won't recommend it!

We had a wonderful family weekend at Cascarot (2 nights, including breakfast and 2 evening meals). Thank you to the owners for their warm welcome and kindness. The location is truly fantastic; the terrace overlooking the Saône, complete with a pétanque court, is very pleasant. It's surrounded by greenery and tranquility, and we enjoyed delicious, fresh, home-cooked food.
Great place to stay, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the meal was very good, especially considering the reasonable price.
I see a lot of people criticizing the service, but for me, it was excellent. The managers are friendly and helpful; it's just that it's a small establishment, which means a certain atmosphere!
Back at CASCAROT for the Six Nations Cup, superb atmosphere and very friendly clientele. The owners, Cyril and Valérie, were exceptionally kind and professional.
A wonderful day and evening with excellent Lyon beer
and a meal prepared by the hostess. Everything is ready for the new season, and we will definitely be back.
