A wonderful discovery. Excellent dishes made with high-quality ingredients sourced from local producers. Special mention to Jean-Michel for his wine pairing advice… and to Sylvestre for his kindness and professionalism. A lovely atmosphere and great energy… I highly recommend it.

And there you have it, once again it was PERFECT: the appetizers, the main courses, and the desserts. Not to mention the owner and the servers; they could teach a lot of their colleagues a thing or two about their kindness, professionalism, and so on. A wonderful experience at La Caserne Sarde in Ville-la-Grand. The waitress was fantastic: smiling, pleasant, and very professional from start to finish. The dishes were generous, beautifully presented, and above all, absolutely delicious. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in the kitchen. I highly recommend this restaurant!

04/03/2026: The welcome and service were very professional! It's nice to feel so warmly received. The decor is pleasant. However, after my experience last year, I didn't want to go back. But I finally gave in and decided I wasn't going to leave with a bad impression. The result: I've decided I won't be going back. The noise level is unbearable (like a cafeteria), you leave the restaurant exhausted from the noise. The pizzas are good, reasonably priced, and served piping hot, but they're getting smaller and smaller. It's good to keep prices affordable, but there are limits. A real shame.

16/03/2026: ❤️ This is my second time at this restaurant, and the quality is consistently excellent. We had a wonderful meal, and they offer great value for money ✨ (I also absolutely loved the cake). The service was attentive and friendly. I had a small problem with my skirt, and they helped me find a solution 🙏 (P.S.: I didn't take the best photos, but it was delicious!)
15/03/2026: It's a place I enjoy going to. A pleasant atmosphere and very attentive service. The food is delicious. However, I'm taking off a star because I was disappointed by the "café gourmand" (gourmet coffee). It consisted of a sort of sour panna cotta, a small dry pistachio cake, and a small pot with a very acidic lemon base and a soft meringue. I'll finish with the crème brûlée, which was very good and which I recommend.
