Casinne sur Besancon

While looking for a restaurant for lunch we came across Casinne. I count that as a great stroke of luck, the visit was fantastic. The selection of dishes was very clear with two starters, two main courses and three desserts. But you could also try everything. If we weren't in France, I would compare it to France. It was great. Some of the dishes were based on British cuisine, as the chef told us. But prepared with French sophistication and with a lot of love. The children also really enjoyed it. The only downside was that the chairs were a bit uncomfortable. It's also a very small restaurant and we were happy to get a seat. Thank you.

We found this restaurant by accident and are so happy we decided to eat here. It’s a small restaurant with a small menu of equally delicious dishes. We ordered all available starters and mains to share and we were so pleasantly surprised with the high quality of each dish. All of them are honest, simple and very well balanced. The main ingredients get to shine in each and every one of them. Also great wines on the menu. Nothing else to wish for when dining in Beçanson. Must try.

If possible, I would give more stars! Simply excellent. So much flavor on the plate. This cuisine is truly poetic! Well done !

Open the door to this simple but friendly place. Let yourself go, discover scents, flavors... From starter to dessert, it's pretty, very good with mastery of cooking, quantities and pairings. And the hosts are welcoming, smiling, in short we had a great time. See you soon Casinne!

Truly awesome experience! From the moment we booked with the waitress to the phone to payment to the great meal. You are welcomed with a smile and the joy of receiving, we would think we were welcomed by friends who invited us into their home. The menu is short, 3 starters, 2 main courses, that’s what we love, no extended menu with frozen food! The dishes are explained to us in detail, we're drooling 🤤! The cuisine is simply delicious, delicate, generous, original. We had a blast! We finish with our favorite of the meal, a succulent pana cota with vanilla and rhubarb compote. We feel that the chef loves good food and takes pleasure in entertaining as if he were entertaining at home! Really, I highly recommend La Casinne, this little restaurant is way too underrated! The prices are really affordable for the quality of the meal! Good luck to the team!

Une perle ! Une pépite ! Courrez-y...Etienne, le chef, après un bref passage en Angleterre pour y être musicien, se tourne vers la cuisine : et qu'il a bien fait !!! Repas juste magnifique. Carte réduite mais très originale et inventive, assaisonnements parfaits, sauces divines, cuissons au top ! Franchement cela faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas été aussi impressionné de la sorte. Soupe à l'ail des ours avec lard gras, salade de chou rave, radis et citron, ris de chevreau (oui!!!) car Etienne avait acheté la bête en entier et la déclinait sous différentes formes...Le tout a petits prix avec un service accueillant et souriant de Jade, passionnée de vin nature. Jolie carte des vins qui change régulièrement. Bref, rien à redire sinon merci et bravo Etienne. Vous êtes un vrai poète du piano !!!
