Castel hotel sur Rennes

Arrived late from the boat and the check in was made super speedy. Lovely breakfast (which we hadn’t booked). Very reasonable price and lots of choice. Rooms were fine - inter joining which worked with the family. Easy car park.

The reception staff are attentive and friendly. The rooms are clean and the bedding is comfortable. Parking is free and reserved for hotel guests.

Good value for money in low season. Excellent on-site restaurant with a la carte or etape menu. Delicious and plentiful buffet breakfast. The only downside is the bathroom, which could use some renovation. The carpeting could be removed.

My stay was generally pleasant; I enjoyed the restaurant despite one major drawback: The bathroom curtains showed obvious signs of mold, indicating a lack of maintenance in that area.

Hello, great room! But the only comment I have is that there isn't much heating.

A huge thank you to Léa, the young receptionist who welcomed us on December 31st. She was simply lovely to the three of us: smiling, attentive, professional, and exceptionally kind. Thanks to her, the welcome was particularly pleasant and warm, especially on this special New Year's Eve. She made us feel at ease from the very first moment and greatly contributed to the quality of our stay. A real gem for this hotel, well done and thank you again, Léa!
