Castillan sur La Grave

I spent four very pleasant and comfortable nights there. The service was friendly, and the restaurant was fantastic. The bar has a terrace which is, in my opinion, the best place in the world to have a beer after a day of skiing. I highly recommend this establishment. ;)

A unique place we've known for years. Always an excellent welcome, what can we say about this bar and its room facing the Meije except that it's very pleasant to start your day there and end it after a great day of sport.

The hotel and staff were welcoming. Very clean. Excellent value for money, all homemade. Generous breakfast. I recommend it.

We had dinner at the restaurant. The setting is beautiful, the food perfectly acceptable, but the service and welcome were bland, uninspired, and soulless. And it's not the first time. What a shame, in such a beautiful mountain setting!

As a bus driver, due to work-related reasons related to the closure of the Lautaret Pass, I had to spend two nights at the hotel on a half-board basis. Beyond the service, which was exactly what you'd expect from a hotel of this type, I especially want to mention how incredibly welcoming everyone was. Above all, I clearly felt everyone's genuine desire to make me happy by meeting my every need, even the simplest ones. Truly, the quality of service was exceptional. I can't wait for the Lautaret Pass to reopen...

A warm welcome. Friendly and smiling staff. Nice menu with beautifully presented dishes. We had a very good time.

Delicious restaurant, reasonable half-board. Too bad the floorboards creak everywhere at 4:30 in the morning, it's a mountain bike trail weekend...

Very good à la carte food, self-service breakfast, rooms with plastic shower stalls and curtains. Ski hotel...that really says it all.
