Pub Brasserie Le Bois des Fees
La Grave
24/07/2026: We came here three times during our holiday, which says it all!
It's a simple, cozy mountain bar and restaurant—perfect for a burger, a beer after hiking, or a relaxed meal with family.
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We loved the ravioli and the burgers, the prices are reasonable, and the mountain views are beautiful.
Highly recommended—we'll definitely be back
20/07/2026: The burgers, fries, and veggie salad (with homemade falafel) are excellent!
A great place to eat.

Castillan
La Grave
01/05/2026: Great hotel with a very friendly and uncomplicated welcome. The price-performance ratio is excellent. The breakfast buffet is small, but very well selected. The hotel's own restaurant is particularly convenient. I really liked my room with its balcony and beautiful view – a successful blend of rustic and modern style. Everything was clean, and the large shower was a real plus. I'd gladly come back! 👍

Restaurant Auberge Edelweiss
La Grave
01/02/2026: Excellent location for La Grave ski area access. Robin and Marlon are great hosts and food is exceptional
28/09/2025: What a memorable experience at the Edelweiss Restaurant! I ordered a moussaka, hoping for an explosion of Greek flavors, but what a surprise: potatoes as crunchy as forgotten potato chips at the back of a cupboard. My partner, perplexed, dared to ask if this was normal. The waitress, lovely but overwhelmed, sent the plate back to the kitchen. And then, drumroll please, the chef himself bursts in, like a hero of a culinary tragedy, to defend his crunchy potatoes, a sacred recipe for the past 20 years! According to him, melt-in-your-mouth is for the weak; real moussaka is crunch or nothing. The result? A plate sent back, a disgusted partner who settled for dessert (decent, but well, it's hard to mess up a cheese platter), and me finishing my meal as a spectator to a gastronomic drama. Advice to the owner: a little humility and a thermometer for your potatoes might prevent a dinner from turning into a philosophical debate. We'll come back... or maybe not!

Le Chalet Des Plagnes
La Grave
27/02/2026: The problem with restaurants that have a monopoly on a particular area. Being the only restaurant in the resort, we're forced to eat there if we don't bring our own food. The ordering and kitchen organization needs improvement. Dishes arrive staggered over an hour; one day the pizzas are late, another day the fries. The managers' response: you can go somewhere else. Of course, you can, but it's not easy when you arrive by shuttle and the nearest restaurants are much further away. In the end, you get cold food of mediocre quality, but the children have to eat. If possible, we'll avoid it, or perhaps when the management finally relinquishes their probably profitable business... On the positive side: Suzanne, the waitress, who does her best, and the magnificent view.
24/02/2026: An unreasonable wait, 45 minutes for a pizza, and to top it off, today, February 24, 2026, we were told the kitchen was 'closing' and no more orders could be placed!!!
After a long morning of skiing, lunch was impossible. Staff shortages??? Poor management??
It's high time Chalet des Plagnes hired more staff, I think!!!
