The prices at Bouillon Saint Martin are really affordable, the food is excellent quality and very generous! The service is just as good as the rest of the restaurant, with lots of friendliness and warmth. We had a wonderful time at a great price, and we can't wait to come back ;) A special mention to the kitchen staff who came to wish me a happy birthday even though we hadn't made any special requests. See you very soon!

Lunch on the terrace during a visit to Caen. Traditional cuisine, excellent value for money, pleasant experience and friendly waiters.

My first time here at lunchtime with my daughters, and it was very good. The young waitress was just wonderful and very kind.

The tomato and mozzarella salad was very expensive for the small portion. The beef bourguignon was quite good. Profiteroles (with an "s")... but only one profiterole arrived on the plate. Rather disappointing.

We came to this restaurant. The waiters were attentive and courteous. We had onion soup, beef bourguignon, and chicken thigh. Everything was delicious. I recommend making a reservation to avoid waiting.

It was absolutely perfect! The setting is beautifully decorated; you feel transported to another era with such attention to detail, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. This warmth extends to the kitchen, where you'll find the comforting flavors we all remember from home, and in generous portions to boot! The appetizers were good, but the main courses were truly exceptional, with perfectly executed nostalgic flavors (the beef with pepper sauce was incredible!). The service was also impeccable. The only minor drawback was the final price, which came to €47 for two ciders, two appetizers, and two main courses. While not particularly expensive in itself, for this type of restaurant (whose initial concept, it seems to me, is to offer good food at a lower cost), it's still close to the prices of regular restaurants! However, the overall value for money remains excellent, so it doesn't affect the final bill at all.

Looking for some delicious and affordable French food, I stumbled upon this place. The food is spectacular (especially the onion soup). The service is top-notch! One of the waiters speaks several languages, including German and Spanish. He's incredibly friendly and helpful. I'd highlight the service, the generous portions, and the flavor of the dishes. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended for both locals and tourists.
