Excellent tarte flambée, with a special mention for the one with Munster cheese. The soup was also very good. Don't miss the homemade crème brûlée, flambéed right in front of you. The gourmet coffee was delicious too. Efficient and friendly service.

The welcome and service were typical of a touristy region in France, with far too many customers treated like tourists. Eat, pay, leave. A shame for Alsace, and thankfully not representative of Alsatian hospitality.

We came here because of the good reviews and waited outside to be let in, as reservations aren't accepted. The decor is quite fun, but the service is more like a fast-food restaurant. It felt rushed and the quality was mediocre (at least with my food), not like a leisurely dinner. The staff was friendly, though. I had hanger steak from the daily specials, which was unfortunately tough and sinewy. My husband's Spätzle were okay. There are better restaurants in town.

Every restaurateur and every server should experience this place at least once. A restaurant with a limited number of tables. Opening hours are from 6 pm. They consistently do not accept reservations. The reason is probably self-explanatory. The restaurant opens at 6 pm, and by then, several people are already waiting to be admitted. This is where the professionalism of the service begins. Guests are assigned tables at a rapid pace. At most, 10 minutes later, everyone has something to drink. Food orders are taken immediately afterward. While the service doesn't involve lingering conversations, it is absolutely efficient. We ordered the sauerkraut with five different side dishes and the pork cheeks. Both were excellent. I don't know what special effects some previous reviewers were expecting; the sauerkraut was delicious. The food overall was great. Large portions. Prices are reasonable for the location. The entire atmosphere is inviting, and the service is outstanding. Especially the waiter who had clearly taken over management. There was no break...one thing after another. Well, if you're looking for a quiet restaurant with a personal touch, you'll have to get away from such a touristy place. We really enjoyed it, the food was excellent, and we'll definitely be back. One more thing: They even have Jägermeister here!

It was fantastic! It was busy, but despite the crowds, the welcome was top-notch and accommodating (we arrived as a group of four with our Golden Retriever)!!!! The food was excellent, the service attentive, and everyone was in a great mood! In short, a wonderful experience!

A very hearty and typical sauerkraut dish. Quite sufficient as a main course, but for those with a bigger appetite, there's much more to discover.
