Mountain and slope views.
Indoor dining area and large terrace.
We had some very good snacks, but as is typical in Val Thorens, the prices are excessive.

We regularly return to this restaurant with its great attitude and always with the same pleasure. A warm welcome, chickpea chips and ricotta to accompany your aperitif, quality dishes prepared by a true chef (I requested spring vegetables in addition to my meat/Mashed Potato Robuchon dish, and they were perfect 🫛). The dessert buffet is always available and the pastries are top-notch too 😋… in short, a stop here is a must ☝🏼, you'll thank me later.

La Marine is the place to be on the slopes of Val Thorens! The cuisine is outstanding, meticulously prepared, and the service is impeccable.
I loved the cheese tortellini with its mushroom broth, served with an old Italian percolator. Truly excellent.
Don't miss the specialty: the pot-au-feu with foie gras. Incredible. With that, you'll be skiing down the slopes faster!

This place has ruined my expectations for ski day lunches. As a dumb American I'll be crying in the Rocky Mountain lodges eating $20 cold hot dogs dreaming of this place.

The service and welcome are consistently excellent year after year. The chalet evening (by reservation) offers a magnificent 360° view and an absolutely incredible sunset. Bravo!
