Chalet Refuge du Pre de Madame Carle sur Pelvoux

We had lunch at the refuge. Goat and lamb. We enjoyed it so much that we ordered two more dishes. The trout and chickpeas were delicious! We also had the famous blueberry tart, which was excellent too! You'll definitely get your money's worth! Don't pass by without stopping to eat!! Words from a true epicurean and experienced cook. Ideally located for starting numerous hikes. Large parking area, terrace, restrooms, and quick service. A beautiful little road leads there, and the arrival point is well worth the detour!

Excellent service and the food was delicious. The lamb was amazing 😋

We just happened to walk past this place. But the location is great, and the atmosphere on the terrace looked nice, with the chef preparing grilled food there. I think we'll go back when we have more time to enjoy it.
