What a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Friendly, helpful staff who were always happy to help. Amazing breakfasts and dinner was out of this world!

We stopped at the Charbonnel hotel which gave us a very professional welcome. The room, although being the smallest (latest availability, information provided in advance at the time of booking) was very cozy. Comfortable bedding with a view of the river. Perfect for our overnight stop. Evening meal on the waterside terrace; refined, pleasant staff. Hearty breakfast on the terrace or indoors if you prefer. We will happily make a stopover at this hotel again.

Un très bon accueil et les mets sont de très grande qualité. De quoi vous en mettre plein la vue! En terrasse on a vue sur la rivière et c'est très joli. Seul bémol, un temps d'attente assez long entre les boissons et l'arrivée de l'entrée, mais l'expérience reste formidable.

We only went to the restaurant, it's incredibly good, great staff, pleasant, smiling, efficient and friendly, but the same goes for the manager!! A delicate, tasty culinary moment that we highly recommend! With a completely reasonable price considering the service, thank you 😊

Such a special spot. Sitting on a balcony over the river Dronne, surrounded by quacking ducks and under the shadow to the medival town facing the cliff face The service was excellent The food was very good I had the light and fragrant gazpacho which was delicious and unique followed but the Canard - beautifully cooked with a nod to Asian sauce Our wine was selected for us - a half bottle that night - best wine we have had in this trip and desperately searching for it in all the caves du vins!! Highly recommend this spot

23/09/2024: What a lovely, pleasant stay! Pleasure to Discover or rather revisit Brantôme on foot from the hotel. The bosses are very present, friendly and attentive. THANKS.
27/08/2024: Very pleasant half-board stay. Very warm welcome. The managers and their team provide impeccable service. Ideal location for day trips, and central in the town of Brantôme. The breakfasts (hearty) and the hearty meals too (quality local specialties), are served, among other things, by the managers with professionalism and a touch of very appreciable humor. Room/bathroom well equipped and very clean. Book with your eyes closed!
