06/04/2026: Wow! What a wonderful moment of warmth and authenticity. The owners went out of their way to accommodate my lactose intolerance. A warm and welcoming atmosphere. And products in the shop so I could continue enjoying them at home. Thank you for this marvelous welcome to spring on this beautiful Easter Sunday 2026 🌸🐣

07/02/2026: A wonderful culinary experience with a truffle-based meal that surprisingly complements every course, from appetizer to dessert. This venue is particularly recommended for group gatherings, although the service suffers somewhat as a result.

27/04/2026: Thank you to all the staff for this wonderful stay in Brantôme. Dinner and service were perfect, right by the water. The room was very comfortable. A must-visit.

19/04/2026: A fantastic experience at this hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was very comfortable and spacious, with everything you could need. The gourmet restaurant was also excellent.

01/03/2026: We dined at this restaurant on the recommendation of a colleague. The setting is very pleasant, and the dish was decent, except for the vegetarian aioli. Reducing the price by €1 compared to the meat or fish versions doesn't seem like good value for money. The chef was very friendly and made sure everyone was served properly, all by himself! Well done! It's a shame the waitress was so cold and formal in her approach, but there was also a very attentive young waiter.

17/02/2026: I was very disappointed with my stay. The hotel is poorly maintained; there was no secure lock on the door. The water barely worked, and the price was ridiculously high for just one night. Definitely not worth it. Furthermore, I was overcharged for breakfast, which included a truly awful croissant.

13/04/2026: We were looking for a restaurant in Brantôme with charm and character… and we found it! Excellent value for money, warm and attentive service. The tables by the river really make all the difference and offer an exceptional setting. A simple, unpretentious menu—exactly what we were looking for: honest, down-to-earth cuisine, true to the spirit of the place.

06/04/2026: Charming, peaceful spot on the banks of the Dronne. Traditional cuisine, regional dishes. One set menu, but everything can be ordered à la carte.

05/04/2026: The food was passable, bordering on mediocre. We ordered salads (average) and duck confit, which was reheated and tasteless. However, the worst thing by far was the time we spent eating. We arrived at 12:35 and left almost at 3:00 PM, even though it wasn't peak season. Far too long.

12/04/2026: The Superior room we booked was not in any way superior. The hotel feels very dated, having none of the chic that we experienced around the region in other hotels on our week tour. We stayed in far better rooms in far better hotels for a lot less, therefore this felt disappointing. The room was bland, consisting of white wood chip walls and grey furniture- the wardrobe looked like Draculas coffin! There was a telephone in the room but no tea or coffee facilities. Why put a phone in a room but not a kettle or a coffee machine? That’s not very superior. The bathroom was also bland, but clean. The shower had no power, just a trickle. Disappointingly, the river tranquil view was spoiled by traffic noise.

10/04/2026: Since the new owners arrived, everything has changed! Excellent welcome, completely homemade meals using fresh ingredients, and a cozy atmosphere. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!
