Château Belmont sur Tours

We came as a couple for one night and were well received. Several small drawbacks however. I requested in the optional romantic pack to add a soft drink as my partner was pregnant. Instead it was the bottle of Vouvray which was replaced by fruit juice which we found a bit of a shame Secondly, a large group booked the hotel at the same time as us, so no more places in the restaurant and more parking spaces. We would have appreciated being warned in advance These are small downsides and we would however like to thank all the people with whom we interacted for their helpfulness and welcome.

Pleasant setting and beautiful building in the middle of a beautiful garden, however I found the rooms, certainly with sufficient equipment and clean, but which could do with a good bit of refreshing. For breakfast nothing to say, as for the staff, all professionals. The downside remains the relaxation area, not easy to access and above all shared with a senior residence.

Lunch with work friends, and for the 40th birthday of one of them, excellent meal as usual, we all settled, magnificent setting, very affordable prices for a gastronomic seedling and very good products in the plate. THANKS.

Très bons plats servis sur la terrasse agréable. Très bon service avec une équipe sympathique et efficace. Petit bémol : sol un peu sale avec des cheveux sur le pied de table et une capsule de bouteille. Par ailleurs il nous a fallu attendre 10 minutes pour que le portail s’ouvre !

Très bonne expérience que ce brunch à l’italienne servi sur la bien agréable terrasse de l’hôtel. Choix de plats et produits variés et abondants. À refaire

I find the quality lower than what I expected from a 4 star. Both in the cleanliness of the premises, the little attentions to visitors and in the dishes we chose at the restaurant!

Very peaceful hotel in the city center of Tours. The rooms are spotless and the staff very welcoming, I recommend.

A great time in a magnificent setting. The relaxation access is very pleasant and the rooms are comfortable. We had a good stay and we will come back.

Positive: spacious, clean rooms, super pleasant wellness area, kitchenette with utensils, magnificent and well-maintained park, quiet place (this must depend on whether there are events, seminars, or other), pleasant welcome but long wait because not enough staff to take care of the requests of quite numerous customers even during the week, very pleasant 30 min walk to reach the city center for the motivated Negative: beds too soft (but possibility of removing the mattress toppers), I do not recommend suites on the ground floor for light or sensitive sleepers because of very poor soundproofing in the rooms (placo walls which transmit all noise from above or from the room next door, cupboards opening, sounds of water flowing in the taps, etc.), non-existent soundproofing compared to the noises in the corridor (the door lets everything pass, you can hear people talking, the slamming of doors, etc.), reception should remind residents not to make noise after 10 p.m. when checking in, which people do not respect by themselves. I don't know if there are other suites upstairs that are better soundproofed. The parking lot is right in front of the room windows so if people leave their cars early it can wake you up because of slamming doors, engine noise, etc. For light sleepers, I recommend taking rooms upstairs, on the opposite side of the parking lot and reception, hoping that it is better soundproofed. Fairly high price (too bad for such soundproofing). Pillows too high too, very uncomfortable, fortunately we had a 2nd bedroom with the pillows a little lower. Other customers have mentioned this too.

Superb place to spend a romantic weekend.
