Breakfast is extremely poor, room was not up to R&C standard. Overall not a true R&C. Great location and nice building but disappointing overall experience.

Many thanks for this wonderful stay. The rooms are spacious, refined and clean. The staff is very professional, welcoming and proactive in providing suggestions and support on the outings offered. We recommend this castle lodge for a delicious weekend.

A great discovery in this establishment. We had a wonderful welcome. The room was impeccable, very spacious, bright. The whole team is smiling and so pleasant. The Lavinal café is excellent.. a nice break during a weekend.. Thank you!

Historic quite place in the heart of Pauillac area. Charming and historic place to stay with large and well done rooms. Stay here to appreciate and understand the terroir, A great get away from the city of Bordeaux but centrally located if you really want to enjoy the wineries. Hassan and Cindy do an amazing job of organizing your tour and details. One of the best suggestions was using an Expert, funny and charming wine guide- Bogdan Ghita - who gave amazing detals on each winery. Overall a great stay at a great traditional hotel. 100 Point stay.

02/04/2024: We were very well received in this beautiful renovated hotel. Comfortable and tastefully decorated room! The swimming pool area is magnificent, the water could have been a little warmer, the sauna is very nice. Quiet location, close to very good restaurants recommended by our hosts (5 minutes by car). A very good, relaxed weekend 😁
07/03/2024: It was just perfect. The rooms are comfortable, very clean, the staff attentive, access to the SPA appreciable with its sauna and the balneo pool option... and I highly recommend the hotel restaurant.

16/02/2024: Gorgeous restaurant. The food was scrumptious. I had the meal of the day. The sauce was to die for. My husband had the beef steak. It melted in his mouth. Friendly service. Our French is very poor so the service staff translated the menu of the day so we knew what we weee getting. Of course, we apologised for our limited French language skills.
