16/09/2026: Passing through Pauillac, I wanted to try a highly-rated restaurant I hadn't been to before. Loving Asian cuisine, I chose Co Ba, and we weren't disappointed. The owner is very friendly, and the dishes were delicious (bun tom and fisherman's stew). The price-quality ratio is also good. We'll gladly return.

02/10/2026: This restaurant is in a nice little area of Paulliac and looks like a movie set. It’s a beautiful area. The restaurant is very modern and has an open dining area. The wait and kitchen staff are very friendly and welcoming. They all speak English as well. The oysters, scallops and duck were absolutely delicious. I was a little disappointed in the beef rib for 2. There was a lot of chewy fat and just did not match the quality of the other food. It was cooked a perfect medium rare though. We all agreed the duck is worth returning for though. I highly recommend this restaurant.

20/09/2026: A lovely meal at this family-run restaurant where everything is delicious from appetizers to desserts. The ham is amazing, and the main courses are just as good. I highly recommend it! 😊

27/03/2026: Ideally located on the quays of Pauillac.
The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The staff is proud to represent the Médoc region in an elegant setting that restores the town's former glory.
The restaurant offers an eclectic menu while maintaining a focus on local specialties.
Finally, châteaux are no longer the only ones offering accommodation and tours that are often overly focused.
The room rates are reasonable and the services are of high quality. A "great find" in Pauillac!

Chateau Cordeillan Bages

26/05/2026: Unfortunately, this hotel is not ready for prime time and not worth the price that it claims. We stayed here for 1 night and were extremely disappointed by this being open and only half finished. This hotel lacks charm and character, it's empty and cold. The power went out 30 min into our stay and the pool is not open despite it being 100°+ F. The concierge tried their best to make up for all of the shortfalls (and were lovely) but this was a poor choice by management to reopen too soon.

13/10/2026: I was with my children, and the owner was very unpleasant. He played his music extremely loudly and wouldn't put down his tablet. Unfortunately, I saw a mouse scurry through the kitchen, and there was a hair in my food.
04/10/2026: Change the Chef! Worst food I ever ate in my whole life.
The smallest oysters, the worst risotto with frozen mushrooms, straight out of the freezer. Waiter didn't care that food was left uneaten on the table, he just piled the plates on top of each other and asked if we would like dessert.
Albeit asking for the menu cause I was still hungry, and asking if it's the same chef who would be cooking, I ordered the Trout, which was presented uncooked as per picture.
Tourist trap 100%, please change the chef if you'd like to improve.

29/08/2024: Brasserie sympathique à la cuisine simple et efficace, le personnel est bienveillant mais dieu que le service est beaucoup trop rapide !
11/08/2024: Cet établissement est en fait le restaurant ddu château Cordeillan Bages qui se situait avant dans le château lui-même. Le cadre est évidemment moins prestigieux mais la terrasse par une belle soirée estivale est agréable, l'intérieur un peu austère!
Le menu à 45€ est très bon et avec un rapport qualité-prix satisfaisant. Malgré tout ce bon diner ne nous a pas fait oublier celui dégusté il y a quelques années au restaurant du château! Ce n'est plus la même catégorie!
Seule l'impressionnante carte des vins es, est à la hauteur du château mais il est à noter que de nombreuses bouteilles, de grands vins certes, (et je ne parle pas des crus d'exception bien sûr) sont à des pris trop élevés par rapport aux prix pratiqués ailleurs pour des vins comparables.
Une très bonne soirée néanmoins avec toutefois la nostalgie du restaurant du Château Cordeillan Bages!
