Unfortunately, my stay was too short considering the quality of the place and service, as I was just passing through thanks to a Smartbox gift. The welcome was very warm, the tasting included homemade dishes paired with local wines, and the advice on places to visit and explore was excellent. Regarding the location, the view from the top of the tower was beautiful, the room was very clean and in keeping with the surroundings, and the pool was immaculate. It's a shame it was windy and a bit chilly before I could try it out. As for the food, it was excellent once again; almost everything is homemade and very reasonably priced. The breakfast was generous and delicious. And the location in general is very well situated for the region. No complaints whatsoever.

We received a very warm welcome from Pascal, who gave us a panoramic view (from a high vantage point) of the Sauternes vineyards and beyond, with insightful explanations. The meal and breakfast were excellent. Thank you.

A great place to eat in a lovely setting. The Château Trillon restaurant offers simple yet well-prepared cuisine in a peaceful environment surrounded by vineyards. The owner is welcoming and attentive, making for a pleasant experience. A delightful restaurant for a good time in the Sauternes region.

The château is located between Yquem and Guiraud, just a few hundred meters apart, ideal for wine lovers. We were welcomed after a storm had cut off the château's electricity... the owner was extraordinary and received us with great kindness, including a candlelit dinner. The owner is charming and passionate about his region; he'll tell you plenty of stories. A wonderful stay despite the weather.

An unusual place run by a multi-talented man who handles everything from welcoming guests to serving and cooking. Located amidst vineyards, the cuisine is generous and flavorful, with wines perfectly paired with the dishes... and on top of that, he offers advice and information about the surrounding area. In short, a wonderful discovery.

A wonderful meal for a birthday celebration, home-style cooking, traditional yet refined and delicious. The waitress and chef were very welcoming and friendly. A truly great experience. I highly recommend it.

13/06/2026: Beautiful setting, excellent welcome and service. Attentive and smiling staff. Inventive chef, magnificent presentation, and delicious flavors. The wines offered paired perfectly with the dishes. We had a wonderful time. We highly recommend it.
09/06/2026: The food is far superior to the service and setting. The cuisine is delicious and deserves its Michelin star! However, I do find the staff's white sneakers a drawback, as are the plain beige curtains, which lack charm and elegance. The toilet door is located in the dining room, and the lawn is unmowed. Here in the countryside, we all know what a beautiful garden is, and all our lawns are mowed in June! It's a shame to go out to a Michelin-starred restaurant and find yourself in a setting less refined than your own home. Fortunately, the food and the staff's friendliness truly make all the difference!

30/07/2024: As we had a booking we were pointed to a table immediately. For us the table was facing the wrong way, so we moved the chairs around. This didn't last long as we had to move to make way for a pram. Okay, all settled again. We had to ask for the menu after about 15 minutes, then we had to ask to place our order after 30 minutes. There was just one man waiting on the tables and a younger guy, who could have been his son, helping out, but as they got busier, he also started taking orders. They were very busy and people were being turned away. We ordered the menu of the day with us both having the pate as entree, the fish as the plat and then a pineapple desert. The food was excellent, well presented and tasty. The fish was served with mussels and a lemon cream sauce to die for! The food made up for the slack unfriendly service to begin with. Well worth the visit, but definitely worth making a booking to be sure of getting in.
23/03/2024: One night in Sauternes and this is the place to go. Charming ambience, good service and delicious, well-presented food at a very reasonable price. Three courses, half a bottle of decent white Graves and a generous glass of the sweet stuff : all for €92. No complaints!
