Lunch at 9 today for a birthday celebration. The food is as good as ever, but today there was a disappointment with the meat options. There was only one meat dish available for the main course, whereas the menu listed three. This was rather frustrating for those with us, two of whom had come from Paris specifically to enjoy the restaurant. I'll let you judge the owner's response, which was completely nonsensical and borderline aggressive, gratuitously mean. When the truth stings, it certainly paints a lovely picture of the restaurant. Go ahead, but keep your mouth shut!

There are already many reviews, so I'll be brief. I loved it. I'd heard a lot about the pike: the one I ate was simply delicious in every way, from the cooking to the sauce.
Every dish that entered my mouth was very good, from the appetizer to the cheese course.
If the waiter asks you what wine you'd like, don't answer "something good," I've done that before. The wine cellar is as good as the restaurant.
Don't forget to make a reservation; the reputation isn't exaggerated, I can attest to that.
Okay, I said short. Go for it. It's really worth it.

This unassuming little inn is a delightful surprise, thanks to its charming decor, warm welcome, and excellent service. I particularly appreciated the service where you can sample your companions' dishes without having to eat from their plates. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything is a wonderful surprise. I especially enjoyed the pike with its homemade sauce, where you try to identify the ingredients. The cheese platter is magnificent and comes with helpful recommendations from the waiters to guide your selection. It's definitely worth making the trip to Menetou-Salon to discover this restaurant. Thank you for a lovely experience.

I've eaten at this restaurant twice and both times were fantastic. The atmosphere is great and you're served with a smile and a sense of humor. The dishes are delicious, especially the house specialty, pike in cream sauce 🥰 If you appreciate good food, be sure to make a reservation; food lovers won't hesitate to steal your table to fill their stomachs 😆

We came to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday.
We had wanted to visit and try the food at this restaurant for a long time... And it was absolutely perfect!
The welcome was impeccable, the servers were incredibly kind, professional, and always smiling ❤️
We chose the tasting menu, and everything was absolutely delicious.
Thank you again for the waiter's thoughtful touch with dessert for Fabrice's birthday.
The atmosphere and service were top-notch, with authentic local cuisine. Honestly, go without hesitation; you won't be disappointed.
We will be back soon with immense pleasure.
