Cheval blanc sur Ferrette

While visiting Alsace, we wanted to enjoy a traditional, local meal on this public holiday. Le Cheval Blanc was recommended to us for this purpose. When making the reservation, it's amusing to see that the customer suggests different possible times, and the owner immediately gives us a time of her choosing. ^^ The welcome is friendly and warm. We were immediately taken care of and served quickly. The food has everything going for it: quality, quantity, and flavor. Thank you for this wonderful experience. It's a shame you don't accept holiday vouchers.

The fava bean terrine was excellent. The Münster in puff pastry was simple but very tasty. The carpe frit were two portions too many after the appetizers.

Traditional cuisine that wasn't exceptional. The service wasn't great, with staff who seemed overwhelmed. A bit disappointed, especially since the reviews were good.

A restaurant with a lovely menu of Alsatian specialties. For us, the best fried carp fillets, but also the calf's head, etc. The service is pleasant despite the restaurant always being full at lunchtime. We go there regularly and highly recommend this place.
