Le Caveau Saint Bernard sur Ferrette

The best burger we have had! The chef really knows how to cook a real burger! The place is very charming, the view of the old church is magnificent. We are so happy we found this place!

The setting is pleasant, and the service is efficient and friendly. It's a shame that the quality of the food falls far short of what one would expect for the prices. Very little is homemade. The salad came from a Fleurie Michon pre-packaged container, and the chicken in the burger was clearly mass-produced.

Le Caveau, at the foot of the church in Ferrette, is a place that's truly worth a visit. The terrace is lovely, the setting is superb, and above all, you can tell there's a real passion in the kitchen. The chef loves sharing his expertise and delighting his customers, and it shows in every dish. Special mention goes to the rib-eye steak: perfectly cooked, excellent meat, a real treat. The service is just as good. The waitress is smiling, attentive, and always ready to help, which makes the meal even more enjoyable. It's the kind of place you visit once… and then happily return to. What puzzles me is seeing some fast-food restaurants rated higher than places like this one. It's as if, in 2026, many people prioritize quantity over quality, or have forgotten the taste of good ingredients and food prepared with passion. Don't rely solely on Google stars: go and see for yourself. In my opinion, Le Caveau definitely deserves its 5 stars.

As a business owner, I went there to eat with a family. The chef was very friendly and experienced. The waitress was very attentive to her customers; I highly recommend it.

The setting has been completely renovated, the decor is lovely, and it's a very good restaurant where we found two seats at lunchtime without a reservation. The food is good and the prices are reasonable considering its proximity to Switzerland.
