Chez Ali sur Epernay

When we got to France I thought to myself that I need to get some Moroccan food. This place was excellent, the food was quite amazing and well worth the wait - what's the rush, you're in France. Though if you are in a rush I'd go someplace else otherwise order some wine, kick back and wait for magic.

Came twice with family: we are very well received, the service is very friendly! And the cuisine... The couscous is incredible, from the very fine grain of the semolina to the vegetables, meats... A real pleasure. We booked both not knowing the crowds but looking forward to coming back.

A friendly, quality meal. Only a certain waiting time justifies 4* and not 5. In his defense, the waiter was alone in the room, which was full. Very reasonable price.

A typical restaurant with a very pleasant waiter who did his best to understand us. The coiscous is very hearty and really very good. The only downside was that we had different menus at the same table with different prices and different dishes.

We knew the old Ali restaurant very well. But well done, it’s still so nice and very good.. We will do it again very soon.....

One of the rare restaurants open late on a weekday in Epernay! Last customer, the team was able to welcome me before closing for a final and very good lemon chicken tagine. Good address to remember!

Here is a very classic Moroccan restaurant and representative in its style: the decor and its ceramics, On the plate the couscous is quite well made, there is care with different spices in each ingredient. The semolina is fine and finely spiced, the raisins are spiced with cinnamon, the harissa with a hint of orange. The grilling is satisfying and the broth is tinged with the aromas of the meat that has been simmered in it. The whole thing is not very greasy, which is pleasant. I would just have liked to have a little more of everything on my meat plate (only 1 merguez, slightly short skewer...) for the price. The service is quite fast and friendly. You will have a pleasant, somewhat relaxing time there.

De passage à epernay j’ai trouvé ce restaurant sur Google j’ai mangé un excellent couscous comme j’ai rarement mangé dans un restaurant le personnel est très sympa je recommande vivement merci Mr Ali pour ce succulent couscous…
