Chez Armand sur Lille

It's a shame you only offer pizzas in the evenings, as your menu was really quite good. However, the crust was excellent, light, and very tasty. One small drawback: I had the impression that the pizza had been slightly crushed during transport, as if it had "fallen" into the bag of mozzarella. Another disappointing point: we paid €13 for the Irish coffee simply because we asked for a decaf with an espresso instead. This extra charge really surprised us and we found it excessive. It's a shame, as it leaves a mixed impression despite the quality of the food.

Superb service! A fantastic team, welcoming, smiling, and always in good spirits. The pizzas were excellent, served quickly and piping hot. Honestly, nothing to complain about… except that my plate was emptied way too fast! 😄 I'll definitely be back. Keep up the good work, you're doing a great job!

A very mixed experience at Pizzeria Armand. Upon arrival, the waitress failed to explain that many dishes were unavailable due to staff shortages and a slow-running kitchen. After settling for pizzas, I ordered one with a charcoal crust… only to be informed, once the pizza was served, that this crust was no longer available. The menu seems very limited and, above all, poorly executed. The same goes for the desserts: no more tiramisu in an Italian restaurant, which is a shame. The "meringue" lemon tart had neither meringue nor much freshness, replaced by whipped cream without this being mentioned when we ordered. Finally, an incident could have been serious: a waitress at the bar knocked over a porcelain plate, which shattered right next to our one-month-old baby's stroller. Fortunately, no harm was done, but a gesture of goodwill or at least some consideration would have been appreciated. The quality of the pizzas remains good, but the service and organization really leave much to be desired compared to the price.
