A very good flank steak and a very basic goat cheese salad (the equivalent of a Yule log, in warmed pieces, on toast with salad and a few cherry tomatoes, plus a hard-boiled egg). The only dish without meat or fish was quite frustrating. But I still ate quite a bit. The problem here is friendliness. It's understandable that I'm tired, but there's no smile, not even a word. They prepare our table without speaking to us, they hand me the receipt without asking if it went well, without announcing the price. Living in the Paris region, we weren't completely disoriented... A shame when you're on vacation.
