Nous avons déjeuné dans ce restaurant un midi. Nous avons été placé à l’arrière dans la cour. Je ne le conseille pas, nous avons subi une attaque en règle par des moustiques affamés ! Les assiettes servies sont très conséquentes. La cuisine est simple et familiale. Le serveur est très agréable.

We dined there without reservation, and they found us a table at the back in the small sheltered courtyard. Perfect friendly and no-fuss atmosphere, very good and hearty dishes, homemade. I recommend!

On s’est arrêté au hasard, on nous a proposé la terrasse: une super idée, à l’abri, service rapide et souriant, toujours un mot gentil ou une plaisanterie. La carte est originale, c’est simple bon et pas cher

11/09/2024: Small break around 2 p.m. to get a little hungry. I had a delicious squid salad, my husband, a bergère plate, good but not extraordinary. The service is very attentive and responsive despite our arrival time for lunch. The only downside is the noise from the nearby road.
26/08/2024: Great discovery of this restaurant in Saint Jean Pied de Port. Friendly welcome despite the local festivals. There was an oversight in our order but the owner came to offer us an extra starter so that the forgotten person didn't feel alone when eating 🙏 Good value for money Good continuation, we will come back with pleasure

07/09/2024: Buzzy atmosphere. Good range of local wines. I didn’t like my sausages as too grisly and the piperade was tasteless. But the beef axoa was excellent. Good service from the young staff.
04/09/2024: All right! The server was friendly and speaks Basque.
