23/10/2026: A brasserie-style restaurant with quality cuisine; we ordered four different dishes, all very good and served hot at the same time. The welcome was friendly, and the service was relatively quick. Prices were very reasonable considering the quality. Dogs are welcome. I recommend it and we will return.
23/10/2026: It tasted seriously bad, so I thought it might be racism, but it was just tasteless.

03/09/2026: Completely rude. Yes, they are busy as the good is very good but that does not excuse rudeness. I was trying to stay out of the busyness and quickly took the menu while thanking the waiter. He snatched it from my hand and then put it back while telling me to calm down. Maybe a bit of a misunderstanding if my quickness was mistaken for impatience but why was he telling me to calm down when he obviously was not. You don’t get to act like this when you are in the business of customer service.

Arrived without a reservation; pure luck.
Otherwise, booking is highly recommended.
Excellent value for money.

22/10/2026: Yes, Saint Jean Pied de Port is well worth a visit, and my third visit was even more so after enjoying a meal at Ttipia, a restaurant that adds to the charm of this town with the flavor of good food and a cheerful atmosphere. Highly recommended restaurant that I will definitely return to.
21/10/2026: A great time! A concise menu with high-quality, well-prepared dishes. An exceptional egg meurette as a starter 🤩 and a remarkable 2023 Ameztia to accompany it. Definitely worth repeating.

Pleasant welcome.
I recommend it, but make a reservation as it's very busy and the restaurant is small.

12/12/2025: Atypical hotel, very friendly staff, magnificent location, beautiful view and the perfect room on the top floor, large comfortable bed, air-conditioned room and above all clean with air conditioning.

29/09/2026: A very warm welcome; you don't want to leave. Luis is a wonderful, generous, and professional person. A rare find these days.
Added September 2026. Since then, every year when I'm in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, I make a point of stopping by to say hello to Luis and enjoy a delicious cordial. It's always a lovely experience. The setting was renovated during the refurbishment of the Place de la Mairie. The terrace is now beautiful with its plants. You don't want to leave even less than before!
17/09/2026: Avoid the crepes and waffles!!!
The crepes were like pieces of cardboard, barely cooked (inedible white batter).
The waffles were tiny and tasteless.
Plus, wiping the table was a struggle; it seemed to bother them.
In short, not worth the trip.

23/10/2026: We had lunch there on Sunday, drawn in by the charming, traditional setting. We received a very warm welcome from a friendly and smiling young waiter. The meal was quite good and reasonably priced. We'll be back.

04/06/2024: No me extraña nada que esté cerrado. Nunca he recibido un trato con tan mala educación como en este sitio. Es una gran pena porque es un sitio céntrico y bonito que invita a entrar.
31/05/2024: Desgraciadamente no puedo opinar sobre la comida porque pedí una simple cerveza y me echaron de malas formas diciendo que era la hora de comer. Nunca me he encontrado con Semejante trato despreciativo

08/09/2024: Très bon repas malgré l'attente mais il faut dire qu'elles n'étaient que deux pour le service et que le resto était plein ainsi que la terrasse.
