06/08/2026: A very touristy restaurant offering bland food at relatively high prices. The set menu is €38, à la carte prices are €15 for a starter and €22 for a main course. For us, the service was disastrous; the waiter forgot what we asked for half the time. No assigned waiter for our table. We waited a very long time for menus and a very long time for a carafe of water. In short, there are much better options. We do not recommend it.

06/08/2026: We were refused a table for two at lunchtime, told they were full and we needed a reservation. Four people behind us, who hadn't made reservations, were admitted. This restaurant is clearly biased towards people.

27/07/2026: A very warm welcome, despite our late arrival after 2 pm on this Sunday. The meal was hearty and delicious; we were delighted to have lunch here.

25/07/2026: The food is impeccable, the service is quick and friendly, and the ambiance and menu exude Basque charm. The wine selection is also excellent. A truly wonderful place; you won't be disappointed! Go for it!

17/05/2026: After the Euskal Trail, I needed to EAT, and this place perfectly satisfied that need. We had a wait of about 30 minutes, which is very reasonable for a group of 9 people who hadn't made a reservation. I recommend the XXL burger and the chocolate fondant, which are delicious! 🍔🍫 As for the staff, we were greeted by a VERY FRIENDLY waiter, while our server and the cashier were EXTREMELY rude. Furthermore, the place is very well located, with a very cute atmosphere. 🌄 In conclusion, I recommend it! ✅

17/05/2026: Delicious and beautifully presented food. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is also beautifully and tastefully decorated. Pilgrims are welcome.

07/08/2026: Restaurant very well located at the foot of the ramparts. Shaded and very good lunch. Discovering the trout: excellent! The baby squid were also very good. Highly recommended!

09/08/2026: The restaurant is very nice and the welcome is truly warm. The service is also quick, which is appreciated. However, I was a little disappointed by the food. The pasta wasn't exceptional, and the chicken seemed frozen and unfortunately lacked flavor. As for the caramel chicken, the caramel was simply poured on top rather than actually cooked with the meat, which is a shame. Another minor drawback: we ordered wine, but there were no wine glasses. Overall, it's not bad, but it's not exceptional either. The place has a lot of potential, and in my opinion, it could be significantly improved with a few adjustments, without necessarily requiring much more work. It's a shame, because with a little more attention paid to the ingredients and their preparation, the experience could be so much better.

24/07/2026: An idyllic setting on the banks of the Nive River. Expertly prepared and affordable cuisine. You can go there without hesitation.

22/07/2026: We had a wonderful time. The service was warm and very quick, the food was delicious and well-seasoned, and they offer many local specialties such as Axoa and Txistorra. The setting is lovely, right by the river.
