We were a group of six and had a mixed experience: we appreciated the originality of the flavor combinations, and for three of us, the dishes lived up to our expectations. However, the other three, who had chosen the hanger steak, were unpleasantly surprised by the very sinewy, thick, and poorly cut meat, making it difficult to carve (we didn't have steak knives...) and especially difficult to chew! There was no sauce to accompany it either. It's a shame because we wanted to please our guests, and the restaurant had been recommended to us; perhaps we just got some bad cuts? The place is small, very rustic (probably intentionally so), but friendly, and the service was courteous and fairly quick.

We had a lovely evening and appreciated the attentive, refined, almost understated service. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. One regret, however: that the mayor of Orléans, Mr. Grouard, doesn't close Rue du Tabour to traffic on Friday evenings, and also on Saturday evenings; or even at lunchtime.

20/05/2026: My wife and I came for dinner last night and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff was very friendly, we were served promptly, and the food was excellent. We ordered a warm goat cheese appetizer, a tartiflette, a fish course, and the coconut tart—everything was delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant.
19/05/2026: A small but friendly restaurant. The waitress seemed a bit lost and made a mistake/forgot some things in our order, but she made up for it later. There weren't many dishes, but that's a sign of quality. I had the Savoyard fondue, which was served with bread, potatoes, and unlimited salad: it was very good!
