Restaurant Le Lièvre Gourmand sur Orleans

This was our first experience at a Michelin-starred restaurant. It was amazing, delicious!! It's truly something else, on another level. The flavors were vibrant and original. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the service was perfect, no complaints whatsoever. Thank you!

Excellent experience. As frequent diners at fine dining establishments, we were very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, which easily earns a place in our top 5, alongside Mauro Colagreco, Guy Savoy, and Jean-François Piège. The menu is highly original, with wonderful Asian influences. This is all the more remarkable given that the chef, to my knowledge, has no Asian heritage, yet the flavors are mastered with impressive precision. Special mention goes to the chef, who is incredibly humble and kind. Suffering from numerous food allergies, he personally came to our table to adapt the menu. This rare thoughtfulness demonstrates a genuine sense of hospitality and attention to detail. I find this all the more admirable considering he had just lost his Michelin star a few weeks prior. A decision I still don't understand, as I believe this restaurant richly deserves to regain a star. A very, very nice discovery, which I recommend without the slightest hesitation.

It was a discovery for me, and a very pleasant one. I chose the tasting menu, and I enjoyed the entire meal, from the different dishes to the various moments offered. The service was excellent, with explanations provided to enhance your meal and help you fully appreciate the food on your plate.

The setting is always very pleasant: upstairs for aperitifs, downstairs for dining, and a lounge for coffee. Calm and intimate, the cuisine features Asian flavors—a delight, with delicate and refined tastes.

We had the pleasure of lunching today at "Le Lièvre Gourmand," one of our favorite restaurants, which recently lost its Michelin star. From start to finish, everything was absolutely remarkable. The welcome was warm and attentive, and the aperitif and its amuse-bouches were divine. Each course was a truly delightful experience, showcasing beautiful ingredients, perfectly cooked dishes, and subtle and refined flavor combinations. A special mention goes to the service, the presentation of the dishes, and the wines. To complete this wonderful experience, hot drinks are served in a small lounge, perfect for relaxation and conviviality. While a Michelin star may no longer officially shine above this establishment, it certainly continues to shine brightly on the plate, in the service, and in the attention given to guests. We left delighted and convinced that this restaurant richly deserves to be discovered or rediscovered. A big thank you to the entire team for this magnificent experience. See you soon.

I'd been wanting to go there for a while; it had been highly recommended. The setting is very pleasant, and the layout is original, with aperitifs served on the first floor. The dishes are beautifully presented, but the taste is lacking. The Asian-inspired menu offers no surprises. You expect something new, something different, but it's a disappointment. There's little seasoning, and while the fish was cooked well, it lacked flavor, as did the other dishes. In short, no surprises for a price that's far too high. 😔

A warm welcome awaited us in the small lounge for a pleasant aperitif, followed by our dinner order being taken. Once dinner was ready to be served, we moved to the dining room, reminiscent of a winter garden, where serenity and calm reigned. The cuisine, a delightful blend of French and Japanese traditions, was simply delicious. We'll definitely be back.

We have been coming to Le Lièvre Gourmand regularly for several years, and each visit confirms our initial impression: in our opinion, it is one of the finest restaurants in the region. The cuisine is exquisitely refined, inventive without ever being showy, with flavor combinations that are always perfectly balanced and sometimes surprising. The cheese platter is simply exceptional, probably one of the finest we have ever tasted in a gourmet restaurant. We are fortunate to have discovered many fine dining establishments in France, but we always return to Le Lièvre Gourmand with the same pleasure. The quality is consistent, and the experience always lives up to our expectations. If you appreciate refined and creative cuisine, don't hesitate: you will have a perfect time.

Thank you to Chef Tristan for introducing us to his culinary world, a blend of Asian and French regional influences. Being of Chinese origin and cooking a lot of Asian food, I thoroughly enjoyed guessing the ingredients used and I admire the creativity employed in each dish! Bravo!
