Very good atmosphere. They are general for the quantity of food. Good meat, very good fries. There remains a little modification to have a little more taste for their sauces. Woks too westernized.

2 consecutive evenings at Etienne's, if we came back it must be because we had a great time! A warm atmosphere, simple and generous cuisine! All the dishes are a delight: the supions, the eggplant gratin, the Lamb skewers with rosemary cooked over a wood fire accompanied by potatoes! Not forgetting the traditional apple pie! The boss and the waitress are charming! We have found our favorite restaurant for our next stay in Marseille!

The welcome is very welcoming (very friendly waiter), the menu is simple but the food is excellent and especially the pizza which is to die for!
A first for us but certainly not the last. A real nice surprise!

It was a little difficult to get a table, but well worth it. We had read that there are no reservations and you should show up early. We were there right when they opened for dinner, but I suppose something changed recently because all the tables were reserved. We were told we could come back at 9 and try then. Around 9, a line formed outside and they would bring people in without reservations as they got tables. They only have 2 pizza flavors but both were outstanding. Then we got the fried squid that comes with salad and bread. That was the best squid I’ve had in my life. Cash only. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Marseille.

We take a break there each time we pass through the region, the atmosphere is totally atypical, no frills, all in simplicity, we like it or we don't like it and for those who don't like it, so much the better, it leaves room for others.
For us it’s always a pleasure.
