Wonderful little restaurant with a wide range of options on the menu.
Had a really nice meal here on the way to the airport; one of the nicest burgers I've had in ages. Highly recommend!

When you arrive from Corsica, on a Monday at noon, in the heart of the Limousin region, without a reservation, and you stumble upon a place called Chez Francis (🤭), there's no hesitation!
There's no sea, but you're still kind of in a beach bar...
A warm welcome and homemade food with unbeatable value for money.
The dining room and terrace gradually fill up, and you understand why! It's delicious and inexpensive.

We were passing through on our way back, stopping at the memorial. We didn't have much time to eat, and although we were initially greeted a bit coldly, we were served in time to make our visit.
They offered us a daily special to meet our need for a quick meal: a delicious chicken with homemade hash browns and a small salad! A simple but excellent dish ☺️
For dessert, a chocolate fondant! We were very happy with our meal.
Special mention to Francis, who gave us a very warm welcome and treated us to a delicious meal! Thank you for the lovely meal, even if it was brief ☺️

A quick detour before heading back to Lyon meant we only had 45 minutes to eat before visiting the memorial.
They welcomed us and were very understanding, offering us chicken and hash browns for that short time. We even had time to enjoy a delicious chocolate fondant!
Thank you for the wonderful meal!

If you are passing through Oradour sur Glane, I really recommend eating at Francis's, it's simple but super good food, plus the team is very friendly.
