At the 4x4 show, as every year, we booked a table for lunch. The portions were generous, but the welcome was still lukewarm! (Perhaps due to overcrowding?) We'll be back…

Excellent food. Fast service. Friendly staff. Friendly restaurant. One small drawback: they don't accept holiday vouchers. I highly recommend eating there at least once if you're ever in Valloire!

The food was exceptional, the meal was absolutely delicious. The welcome was warm and friendly, making you feel right at home. The drinks menu is extensive, offering something for everyone. Best cafe gourmand ever. Great family business and atmosphere. Our large group was accommodated by staff for a snack outside kitchen hours.

06/09/2026: Always exceptional! A trip to Valloire = one or two visits to Pompon and La Déesse 😉. Super friendly, excellent food! See you soon!
30/08/2026: If you want to eat quickly and reasonably well in Valloire, this is the place to go… but be prepared to spend a lot because they really rip you off; a half-liter bottle of white wine costs as much as a 5-liter box of wine at the supermarket (14 euros). It's a real shame to treat tourists like cash cows during the 4x4 show.

25/08/2026: We came without a reservation, and they still managed to find us a table, even though the restaurant was completely full just 30 minutes later. We started with the charcuterie board for two, with a fantastic selection of cheeses and meats. For mains, we had their Gnocchiflette, their take on tartiflette made with gnocchi instead of potatoes, and it was absolutely wonderful. We also had the pasta with truffle cream, which was unbelievably good. Both the pasta itself and the sauce were excellent. Service was warm and friendly, the beer was cold and good, and the whole evening was a great experience. Definitely recommended!
