07/09/2026: A restaurant with Savoyard decor and a team of young, very welcoming restaurateurs, clearly passionate about their work. Our taste buds were delighted by the quality ingredients and expertly prepared dishes. Our little family, on a two-day holiday, enjoyed it so much! 😋 😉 Thank you.

30/08/2026: Fantastic experience, we were recommended by a friend. The restaurant is beautiful. The setting is magnificent. The atmosphere is amazing. We had a truly delicious porcini mushroom fondue. We weren't disappointed. I recommend booking in advance, though, because even though it's a small establishment, many people know about it, so be sure to reserve before you arrive.

05/09/2026: At first glance, it seemed like a very good place. We ordered a fondue that looked delicious and were surprised to find it suddenly became all-you-can-eat mid-meal... we were terribly ill the next day and bedridden... coincidence or just bad luck... We can't say for sure that it was the restaurant's fault, but we have serious doubts... On the other hand, the service was impeccable.

29/08/2026: We were there for the 4x4 show; the food was exceptionally good, it was truly excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

02/09/2026: We stopped for dinner, opting for pizza to keep things simple. We didn't expect exceptional pizza, so we gave it a 4/5; it's good, but there's room for improvement. The prices were moderately high for what we got, but consistent with the location and time of year. The staff spoke excellent English upon arrival, but then the same person at the table spoke only in French. We managed, but we're not sure why he didn't want to continue in English. Ciao!

24/08/2026: We had a lovely time, the waitress was very friendly, and the pizzas were delicious. We highly recommend this place!

27/08/2026: At the 4x4 show, as every year, we booked a table for lunch. The portions were generous, but the welcome was still lukewarm! (Perhaps due to overcrowding?) We'll be back…

18/08/2026: Excellent food. Fast service. Friendly staff. Friendly restaurant. One small drawback: they don't accept holiday vouchers. I highly recommend eating there at least once if you're ever in Valloire!

03/09/2026: Three of us came to this restaurant on Tuesday, September 1st, around 1 p.m. to eat a Savoyard fondue, and 24 hours later we all got sick with gastroenteritis! I strongly advise against this restaurant, despite the fact that the fondue was very good.

25/08/2026: We came without a reservation, and they still managed to find us a table, even though the restaurant was completely full just 30 minutes later. We started with the charcuterie board for two, with a fantastic selection of cheeses and meats. For mains, we had their Gnocchiflette, their take on tartiflette made with gnocchi instead of potatoes, and it was absolutely wonderful. We also had the pasta with truffle cream, which was unbelievably good. Both the pasta itself and the sauce were excellent. Service was warm and friendly, the beer was cold and good, and the whole evening was a great experience. Definitely recommended!

16/08/2026: We ordered pesto pasta, we had been wanting it for a long time…the dish itself was a huge disappointment. It consisted almost entirely of oil, it didn’t have much flavor, and the pasta wasn’t cooked to the perfect consistency for us, it was harder than it should have been. I personally didn’t like that the pine nuts were not ground into the sauce itself, so the taste of the whole dish was in each bite. They spared the basil…really unfortunately we got a pasta with more olive oil and a little cheese. We didn’t eat it.

30/04/2026: Everything was perfect! Simply put, you absolutely must go to Bar du Soleil if you're ever in Valloire! Atmosphere, food, value for money… Thanks again to the whole team and see you soon!

09/09/2026: We were a construction crew on assignment in Valloire for two weeks. In the evenings, we went for drinks and also ate there once. The pizzas are delicious! A great place to meet up in the evening. The staff are very friendly and, above all, accommodating. It's rare these days to get a round of drinks from the owner without asking. In conclusion, don't hesitate to go for a drink and say hello from the Spie Batignolles team 😉🍻

16/08/2026: Good evening, we had lunch there and thoroughly enjoyed it, a very good meal, all homemade, with excellent homemade mayonnaise and a superb burger. There were four of us. Thank you, from the people of Ardèche.

07/08/2026: Very friendly staff. I was able to bring my dog ​​on the lift. I'm disabled and use two canes, and the people who take us up slow down the cabins and help us. Great. Up at the top, there's a children's play area, a snack bar, and a restaurant, but it's less welcoming and there's a wait to eat. The burger was very good, €22.50.

10/04/2026: €11 for a pedestrian ascent seems quite expensive to me... Especially with the bar at the top closed...
