The best pizzas in the Médoc. A view shared by my wife, who has Italian roots and only eats Gonzo's pizzas. Enjoy them on the terrace or take them away.

Very good thin-crust pizzas. They're not fussy about changing ingredients (a plus for those with allergies). It's best to book in advance to avoid a wait, especially in the evening. It's not a takeaway restaurant, but you can sit down to eat (not ideal, being on the road, but not very busy). The "large" pizzas are the standard size, or even a bit small for a big eater. Prices are a little high (around €12 to €19 - we paid €57.80 for four "large" pizzas to go), but there's a good variety and they use good, fresh ingredients. The loyalty card, which offers a free pizza every 10 orders, is a real bonus that keeps us coming back.

Very good pizzas! However, be aware that it's no longer a restaurant, but only a takeaway. There's a tiny terrace that fills up quickly (4-5 small tables), and you can eat from plates (without cutlery, glasses, or water). But don't come expecting a restaurant experience, as the old photos might suggest. It's a shame, because the pizzas are good, so what they used to serve must have been good too.

We ordered an oriental pizza and a Landes-style pizza, both of which were absolutely delicious with a thin and crispy crust! A real treat!

Excellent pizzas. Ideal for takeout and enjoying the beach just steps away. Friendly and responsive staff. Average value for money... €70 for 4 pizzas and a bottle of rosé, without desserts.

Disappointed to see that the restaurant has closed. The pizza has also shrunk considerably over time.

It's with some regret that we give this mixed review, as we're regulars who used to love Gonzo Pizza… but our last order this weekend was very disappointing. The small Nocci pizza at €14.50… part of the topping was missing: no walnuts, no arugula. A small pizza at that price with just a few pieces of goat cheese, not a whole slice, and a drizzle of honey makes it an expensive pizza. Trusting them, we didn't check the boxes before leaving. And as for the Pizza Sorento, the topping was finely chopped and very sparsely sprinkled. Only the Paysanne was decent. The dough, however, remains excellent! We understand the price increase to offset the rise in energy, raw material, and transport costs… provided the quality remains consistent! €40 for three pizzas: one large and two small, all with finely chopped and sparsely sprinkled toppings. That's a steep price for a little treat.
