La Bolée sur Soulac-Sur-Mer

The welcome was friendly, as was the service. The seafood dishes were original, delicately prepared, and very tasty. The desserts were good, especially the Grand Marnier soufflé.

We had lunch at this restaurant in the heart of Soulac-sur-Mer, just a few streets from the seafront, during the 1900s festival… we had reserved a table, and luckily we did, as it was very busy that day. The staff were welcoming, the meal was very good, and the service was a little slower for this special occasion, but it wasn't a problem.

Lunch at midday with the set menu. An excellent place: homemade cuisine, elegant presentation, impeccable service, refined dishes, all for €22. Our friends from Royan recommended it and we will definitely return. Highly recommended!

I'm a regular. I really appreciate this restaurant for the quality of its food, especially when it's not on the set menu. Today, I ordered the crab parmentier with seared scallops. As the name indicates, "seared scallops" is plural, implying at least two scallops. However, there was only one. The name should either be corrected, or at least one more scallop should be added. The flavor was still there, though. For dessert, I ordered a Grand Marnier soufflé with ice cream... Admittedly, I did get a firm Grand Marnier ice cream, but I didn't see a soufflé... With a glass of white wine, lunch cost me 45 euros... I can't say it wasn't good, but the shortcomings in the dishes as described made the bill seem unjustified... I hope that the fact that I often eat alone didn't affect the quality of the food served... Unfortunately, that's what I've often noticed... I will, however, return to LB, hoping that my friendly remarks will be taken into account... Marie

Highly recommended! Really good food that isn't overpriced. Very friendly and attentive staff who almost know what the guest needs. We thoroughly enjoyed the food there and will gladly return to continue enjoying it.

A lovely establishment offering generous menus at a good price. Be careful with the cooking of the seared tuna, though... nevertheless, I recommend it.

We came for lunch on a Sunday and were delighted with this restaurant where everything is homemade. Beautifully presented dishes made with excellent ingredients. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Soulac. Surely the best restaurant in town.
