Some tasty tapas and a glass of Pessac-Léognan white wine. A beautiful view of the bay. It was very cold tonight, but that made the evening memorable.

We had a wonderful family meal at this restaurant! Everything was perfect from start to finish: a warm welcome, attentive service, and delicious food made with excellent ingredients. The setting is also very pleasant, with a lovely view of the ocean and the Arcachon Bay. We enjoyed lunch on the terrace, accompanied by a few small birds that made the atmosphere even more charming and peaceful. A truly wonderful place that we are happy to recommend!

The chorizo-stuffed razor clams were delicious. Excellent sole at a reasonable price. Delicious squid in Armorican sauce. The setting was magical.

A very pleasant spot at the end of the oyster port in Andernos. The oysters and fish are excellent. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I recommend it.

L'Huitre du Boucher

21/03/2026: I settled in alone yesterday at lunchtime under Christine's pergola. Six extraordinary oysters, six very fresh shrimp, a small glass of rosé, bread and mayonnaise on the side. Sunshine and a light breeze on the Arcachon Bay, a view of mallard ducks quacking in the small stream at the bottom of the mudflats at low tide. The hospitality of Christine and her husband seems straight out of a timeless novel. This couple loves their work, but even more so, they love people. If you like modernity, don't rush. If you appreciate the truth of a story that paints a whole landscape of languor and humanity, this is an essential stop.
02/03/2026: A warm welcome, no fuss, and oysters that were particularly delicious in early March, and a good size for size 3. The Espelette pepper pâté was fragrant, and the white wine from Château Farizeau (Entre-Deux-Mers) paired perfectly with everything. And the price was reasonable for the whole experience; in short, highly recommended.

16/08/2024: Super spot pour chill et instagram. J'ai adoré mes 12 huîtres numéro 3 bien charnues. J'ai kiffe mes bulots piment d'espelette bien assaisonné. Enfin j'ai pri des crevettes fraîches. Prix raisonnable 36 euros. Pain artisanal baguette excellent. Service efficace un vendredi 11h. Décoration moderne chic cosy. Je recommande.
13/08/2024: Appena atterrati a Bordeaux, volevamo subito entrare nel mood locale e quindi ci siamo recati ad Andernos-les-Bains, una località curata sulla parte destra del bacino di Arcachon, a un’ora di auto da Bordeaux. Ci sono svariati ristoranti (in realtà “trattorie”), i migliori alla fine della stradina, tutti molto simili, cioè una piccola cucina e una terrazza sul mare o meglio sul bacino. Si mangiano rigorosamente solo ostriche, gamberi e lumache di mare,tutti prodotti freschi. Da bere un bordeaux bianco Prezzi bassi visto il livello dei frutti di mare. Un’esperienza sicuramente da fare.
