Inexpensive, super good, almost gastro-friendly

Always a top-notch welcome, hearty and delicious dishes, always a pleasure to return, I highly recommend this place.

We had a bit of a mixed experience: First of all, the staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout the evening. The starter was excellent, and my girlfriend also enjoyed both her main course and dessert. Unfortunately, my own main course, the Caesar salad, was very disappointing. In my opinion, it simply hadn’t anything to do with a Caesar salad at all. The dressing didn’t work at all for me, and I didn’t enjoy the dish. I decided not to send it back at the time, but looking back, I probably should have. I hope the kitchen takes another look at this particular dish, as I think it could be improved significantly. The service was also much slower than we expected. We waited a long time for several items, including drinks. One bottle of water we ordered never arrived and had to be removed from the bill at the end, which the staff handled without any issue. We also ordered cocktails, but unfortunately we didn’t enjoy them. They weren’t to our taste, had to ask for improvements and didn’t meet our expectations. Overall, while the friendly staff left a positive impression, the slow service and the disappointing Caesar salad meant the evening didn’t live up to what we had hoped for. I appreciate the hospitality and hope this feedback helps the restaurant improve.

Today's special was very good, with an excellent mention for the exotic panna cotta.

We had a great time and the food was delicious. The waiter was there to advise us and ensure our meal went smoothly.

Excellent dinner with fresh ingredients and delicious recipes. The presentation of the dishes was superb. The service was attentive but a little slow, but it was worth the wait. Well done and thank you for this wonderful meal.

Lunch on the terrace with a lovely view of the Jacques Coeur Palace: beautifully presented dishes with expertly prepared ingredients, all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!
