A super great place where Jean Pierre and his smile prepare meats for you on a beautiful brazier and where Dumé and an equally delicious smile serve you a beautiful, hearty plate full of fresh produce...beautiful view of the typical Corsican landscape. A very nice moment even if a local Jean Claude spoke a little too loudly ;) Returned today, October 21, still delicious. Just missing the sweet voice of our friend Jean Claude. I will have to come back! ;))))

Very welcoming and very generous dish. The meats are cooked in the brazier which adds a really good flavor. Jean-Pierre and his entire team are really adorable and make you want to come back. Here, you really feel Corsica 🇫🇷. All at a very competitive price. we quickly understand why the restaurant is often full. The only complicated thing is parking.

Restaurant U Castellu

12/12/2023: A good place to use as a base to explore the national park. We recently (December 2023) came back to enjoy the special events; every Saturday night (even in winter) they have live music which was excellent; On the Friday evening they had the owner giving a live speech on Corsican history and wine (in French) with glasses of wine to taste as he took us on a virtual tour of the Corsican wine-making areas. If you understand French and love wine and history it's a "must do".

11/10/2023: The hotel looks dated, but don't be fooled by appearance! Behind this old appearance hides a crazy charm and the most comfortable bedding. The decoration is tastefully done. The bathroom offers limited comfort but it deserves to be impeccably clean. On the other hand, at the restaurant level it's the cost of bamboo... we eat very well and rather plentiful it is true, but the prices are just exorbitant, too bad.
03/10/2023: Un hôtel avec un charme indescriptible, un accueil parfait !! Je vous remercie d’être venues nous chercher pendant cette tempête ( nous étions en plein Gr ) . Une hospitalité qui fait du bien comparer aux refuges corses ( partie nord ) . Très beau et bon restaurant , niveau service impeccable .
