The servers were very welcoming and friendly in a very warm restaurant. Everything went very smoothly, with really fast service! The food was excellent and the presentation was beautiful; we had a wonderful meal at a top-notch restaurant to end our weekend in Vannes. Thank you!

A superb discovery for dinner tonight. Restaurant Chez la Mère 6 Sous in Vannes. An incredible setting that transports you back in time, complete with a magnificent soundtrack. A very warm welcome and the food is simply divine. For starters, Breton oysters, followed by grilled Guéméné andouille sausage with homemade fries and old-fashioned mustard sauce. Apple cake with salted caramel for dessert.
A true delight for the taste buds. I recommend this restaurant 1000%!

Here, you literally step back into the post-war past. The decor is either atypical or typical, depending on your perspective. The kitschy retro soundtrack adds character to the overall theme, and the cuisine, both simple and elaborate, delights visitors' taste buds. The wines offered by the glass are of good quality.
The service is friendly, although a bit slow. The prices are a bit high. However, this is undoubtedly a must-try, or repeat, spot in the most Breton of Morbihan towns.
