Empreinte sur Vannes

On Friday, August 14th, we enjoyed a delicious meal. The appetizers were incredibly fragrant and flavorful, as was the main course. Kudos to the chef and his assistant! The welcome was exceptionally warm!

A superb experience at Empreinte, which opens its doors to us and allows us to enjoy very fine cuisine and a natural and smiling service that perfectly matches the atmosphere of the place.

Delicious, natural cuisine! The restaurant is run by a very friendly couple; he cooks, and she handles the service and wine recommendations. Great attention has been paid to beautiful details in the decor. There's a different lunch menu each week, and dinner is only available on Fridays and Saturdays. Food intolerances were inquired about and very kindly accommodated. Highly recommended if you value high-quality, locally sourced food!

We went there based on Google reviews and weren't disappointed. Be sure to book in advance because this couple works culinary miracles, so it gets very busy! The decor and the miniature spaces created by the family are also a feast for the eyes! Congratulations to everyone! The daily menu is a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. Here, we ordered a different starter, main course, and dessert to try everything :)

Lovely restaurant ran by lovely people. I liked the lunch so much I went twice to taste the entire weekly menu. The wine selection and recommendations are terrific and the food is outstanding. There’s a lot of work and refinement put in all the dishes but what stands out the most is the respect of the products and how the chef sublimates the core ingredients of the mains: both the fish and the lamb were not just cooked to perfection, their texture and taste were elevated!

Passing through Vannes, we discovered this restaurant a few weeks ago for lunch. We loved everything about it, starting with the cuisine, which is full of textures and flavors—a sophisticated yet simple approach. The ingredients are excellent, locally sourced, and the chef is clearly a master. And what can we say about the attentive service and the wine recommendations? If you're looking for an emotional experience, you won't be disappointed. Each bite reveals new sensations; the dish unfolds gradually, nothing is left to chance. A huge thank you to Baptiste and Marine. A must-try for us in Vannes—I'm still thinking about it a month later! 🤩

What a delightful restaurant! Flavors I'd never tasted before and fabulous combinations. From start to finish, where the homemade chocolate magically complemented the coffee, hats off! I highly recommend it.

If I lived in Vannes, this would be my favorite restaurant! We were there on a Saturday, and they had a very nice surprise menu. We were only asked if there was anything we didn't want to eat. The service was very attentive, friendly, and charming. Even though we don't speak French, communication went smoothly. Highly recommended!
