We arrived during the off-season when few restaurants were open, and even though the dining room was nearly full and we hadn't made a reservation, they found us a cozy little table. The food was home-style and generous, and the service was warm and friendly.
A very pleasant lunch! The restaurant deserves credit for being open in March, unlike most of the other restaurants and shops in town which are closed at this time of year. The menu is simple but offers some excellent choices. The service is quick and the staff really do their best to find a seat for everyone. A great place for lunch.

We had the set menu for €19.50: very good and generous. The Vacher's soup was delicious, as was the stuffed cabbage with truffade. The blueberry mousse for dessert was light and fragrant, and the waffle with whipped cream was excellent. The service was discreet and quick.

Efficient and quick service. Tables very close together, making conversation difficult. Salers steak cooked as requested, served with truffade and salad.

Fantastic welcome... both an outdoor terrace and an enclosed one, perfect for this season... affordable price for 2 people including drinks, a main course and dessert: €50... excellent, I highly recommend it!!
