Hello Saturday December 7, 2024 only restaurant open in this magnificent village.
We were lucky enough to only find this restaurant which allowed us to eat in a pleasant setting (old building) and finally a local meal. (Farmhouse soup, stuffed cabbage, truffade....) and at an affordable price.
Flawless for the cuisine that is offered. Finally a cook who understood that simple, very well cooked products always leave good memories.
Local cuisine (menu at 19 euros) and yes, not expensive because the stuffed cabbage, cantal cheese, potatoes and onion soup with stale bread are from here....
Thank you very much, I will recommend you and I will come back with pleasure.

Restaurant with typical Cantal charm where we will find specialties such as truffade and local sausage.

Mid-November the restaurant Chez la Préfète is the only restaurant open in Salers.
Friendly welcome.
Excellent Auvergne specialties.
Please note this restaurant will be closed throughout the month of January, therefore it is safer to avoid Salers for lunch at this time.
Address to remember for other dates.

A lunch for two this afternoon, we were well received, the room is small but the meal was very good. We each took a local menu which allowed us to taste local specialties (pounti, stuffed cabbage, truffade...) at a reasonable price. Very fast service and well stocked plates. Very satisfied!

Restaurant in a pleasant setting. The waiters had difficulty coming to us, they seemed not to see us but no matter, after a fairly long wait (but not excessive) we were able to eat a truffade which was good as well as a steak of beef which was a bit firm but Good. Low price for students during the off-season.

Très bon repas en famille avec 3 enfants.
Nous avons été très bien accueilli, le service très efficace et ce qu’il y avait dans nos assiettes était vraiment très bon. Rien à dire.
