Le Bailliage Restaurant sur Salers

Small structure but huge potential: I loved my stay in this hotel! The +: affordable price considering the quality of my room, which is very modern and spacious (comfort room), the receptionist who welcomed me is very friendly and kind, the bedding is of good quality and the sheets + pillows are so soft that you sleep like in a cloud 🤩, the bathroom with a large bathtub, the electric shutters on the window which guarantee total darkness and the location (at the entrance to Salers and overlooking the pedestrian streets , in 2/3 minutes on foot you are in the center of Salers). The least: the noise 😔 which woke me up from my lie-in 😂. From my bed, I could hear the noises of the cleaning ladies (I think) who were working upstairs but I had the impression that they were in my room because the noise was so poorly soundproofed. But that's just a detail, my stay was perfect so the hotel still deserves 5* from me and I think it deserves to be upgraded to 4* given the quality of the services! I did not try the restaurant (although the dishes seem very high quality), the breakfast (but the description in the welcome booklet suggested that it is copious), the spa (I I forgot my swimsuit) and the outdoor swimming pool (closed in winter, logical ^^).

We had a great Easter weekend. The staff is top notch. The room was just very pretty. The hotel is tastefully decorated. The Spa is very pleasant. The meals are delicious! Just one small negative point: the acceptance of dogs in the restaurant room.

We wanted to discover Salers, "one of the most beautiful villages in France", so we stopped there for a stopover. We didn't eat, too bad but Monday... We slept very well there, very good bedding, quality establishment. Special mention to Marie, at reception, very attentive for her kindness and professionalism. Well done.

Very pleasant hotel restaurant, we had a very good weekend overall, the room was very beautiful, clean and nicely decorated, the seasonal menu at €42 was excellent, the staff was very professional and kind (updated apart from the bartender on Saturday evening, not a smile, very unpleasant, we felt very uncomfortable) fortunately the room service made up for all that. We had also booked the private SPA, we loved this moment of relaxation, the place was very warm and really well equipped! The breakfast is quite generous and the two dining rooms are well decorated and modern. Thanks to the whole team and have fun. Sincerely.

This review only concerns the restaurant but I have no doubt that the quality of the hotel is comparable. The meal was delicious (starter and main course specialties) and the service was perfect. Lovely and competent staff. Excellent value for money for this pretty place where we will return with pleasure.
