First time at this Pau institution. The owner and servers are lovely. The terrace is very peaceful, and the food is rarely such good value for money. And the fries… delicious!

A really great, festive, and sporty atmosphere, with the PSG-Arsenal final being broadcast! 👍 The appetizer platters, made with quality ingredients, are generous and delicious. We come, we love it, I keep coming back! ❤️

A typical bistro. If you like authentic food, this is the place to go. We didn't get to try the chicken in a pot; it wasn't one of their special days. The garbure (cabbage and bean soup) was more like cabbage soup, with no Tarbais beans. A shame.

While passing through Pau, we stumbled upon this restaurant! A very warm welcome and a delicious meal from start to finish. A wonderful discovery. A big thank you to Grandma Laurette and her team. Highly recommended! 👍🏾

11/07/2026: We sat down at a restaurant the other side of the square but got up after being ignored by unmotivated staff and grabbed an outside table at Le Berry. What a contrast! Welcomed with a Bonjour et Bien venue by a pack of noisy friendly waiters. Inside was packed and wonderfully noisy. Had a beer, salad niçoise and the biggest croque madame I've ever seen all for €40.
11/07/2026: One of Pau's institutions, never disappointed, so no reservation needed 😁

16/02/2026: The menu is perfect, lots of options to choose, everything was delicious, the salads are big, definitely worth it for the price
14/02/2026: Very good, very warm welcome, I was impressed by the head waiter, his motivation and kindness, and the runner Hayat!
