A cozy place reminiscent of a small mountain chalet. The Savoyard fondue is both generous and full of flavor. I can't wait to go back! 😊

A restaurant specializing in mountain cuisine with impeccable service and a warm welcome. My only slight complaint was the croutons and whipped cream, which seemed to be from a store. Otherwise, I have no complaints and highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a wonderful time! The food was excellent, the cheese and meat were all delicious 😌 A very nice, cozy atmosphere. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, it's really pleasant. We'll be back 😌

Perfect, the young waiters are extremely friendly and the food is delicious. My only slight complaint is that there's not enough lighting at the tables.

A fantastic restaurant! The owner and team are absolutely top-notch 👌🏾. Despite a slight wait due to an oven issue, the experience was, as always, absolutely top-notch 👍🏾. Don't change a thing 😁

The staff is very friendly and welcoming, especially the owner who is very kind and welcoming. The cheese fondues are excellent, as are the beef and wine fondues. Fondue lovers won't be disappointed. The prices are reasonable. The rosé wine by the carafe is very good. The homemade desserts are also very good. I recommend you come and visit! However, be sure to book in advance as it fills up quickly.

25/04/2026: With two friends, we were looking for a traditional restaurant in Saint-Étienne to have a good time. We were craving some good meat and a nice wine 🙂. The evening at La Java Bleue exceeded our expectations! We received a super warm welcome and were served by two very funny waiters with whom we had a lot of laughs!! The meat was top quality and served with fries cooked in beef fat... Believe me, they're nowhere near as good as McDonald's fries!! 😋😋😋😋 At the end of the meal, we were offered a small digestif (and not just any digestif, it was the very good Verveine du Forez...). Honestly, an excellent evening, and believe me, we'll be back... Top-notch restaurant!!! 😉
