Chez Mimi is a roadside inn located right off the A1 motorway. Clearly, it embodies the philosophy of this type of establishment, typical of truckers, but not exclusively... Many of our Dutch-speaking neighbors are there, speaking in a rather loud voice, but that's part of the charm. The food is simple and home-style, and the value for money is unbeatable. The decor is simple, and the staff is very attentive. The owner's good humor is infectious. It's a shame that this type of establishment is becoming increasingly rare.

11/09/2026: This restaurant is such a great representation of Taiwanese cuisine 🇹🇼❤️ Whether for breakfast or dinner, I wholeheartedly recommend it 👌🏼👌🏼 And to tell you how much I love it: I traveled from the South of France for the second time just to come to this restaurant. And honestly, my taste buds are thanking me! Special mention to the manager, who is absolutely lovely. After learning that I had a cold, he made me a chamomile tea and kindly offered it to me. A small gesture that really touched me 🫶🏼 And above all, it's the only Taiwanese restaurant I know that offers the famous savory pancakes, an iconic Taiwanese specialty. An absolutely unmissable specialty! A truly exceptional place that does justice to Taiwanese cuisine, with delicious dishes and such a warm welcome 🙏🏼
