Welcoming and friendly staff. Excellent meat selection, all delicious. The only slight drawback: the banquettes are a bit cramped and not very comfortable. Delighted with my visit. I recommend it.

Great evening at Chez Max. Best Welsh rarebit of my life. Very friendly and warm service. It was a quick visit for us, we were going to the theatre afterwards... Perfect!

A fantastic experience. Simplicity and generosity. A very nice restaurant in Lille. The wine list is short but very well-curated and reasonably priced. Beautiful cuts of meat. Well done!

I visited on the off chance after a restaurant I had planned to visit was fully booked..well I’m glad it was as this place was brilliant. Food fantastic from start to finish, full of flavour. As a solo diner the service was welcoming, friendly and non invasive. Would highly recommend!
