Chez Max sur Sainte-Genevieve-Des-Bois

We've known this place for a long time, having moved to the Loiret region, but it's been a while since we've been. Yesterday, there were six of us, and it will be the last time—a 240km round trip for this! For our aperitif, there were no olives, unlike all the other tables which had olives and bread. After 45 minutes, my main course, Morue à la Braga, arrived with potatoes that were barely cooked, not browned, and cold, as was the cod itself. I didn't even send it back because I was so hungry and had waited. Then the dessert, Bola, wasn't great, and to top it all off, the price was quite high. What a shame!

Disappointed, I ordered cod abras that was overcooked or recooked, overcooked potatoes, and chips, all in oil. Expensive compared to what I ate.

We celebrated our daughter's 18th birthday at Max's. Thank you for the warm welcome, your availability, and the impeccable service. As always, the food was delicious and plentiful.

Yesterday, I discovered this restaurant during Anaïs's 18th birthday celebration. Very good, generous portions, friendly owner, and a very professional waitress. Thank you.

The fajoade, or Portuguese cassoulet, was better than our last meal... better presented; hearty, but the meat was undercooked, especially the pork... It leaves a bad taste in the mouth and it's bad for your health... The carafe of wine was changed and was very acidic. Again, a shame.

The food we ordered was very good and very generous. The waitresses were very nice. But the owner is very unpleasant... it's a real shame.
