This traditional restaurant impresses with its solid cuisine. It's a shame, however, that the side dishes are very limited. The only vegetables available are green beans and salad. The only other side options are French fries or mashed potatoes (with butter). Anyone who, for example, can't tolerate fat in the fries or mashed potatoes is out of luck. Rice and potatoes are not available as side dishes. A pity for a restaurant with this reputation.

As part of a company seminar, we had lunch at this fully renovated Deauville institution. We were welcomed at the bar in a neo-retro Belle Époque setting for an aperitif and then served promptly. Quick, efficient, and good.
