La Belle Epoque sur Deauville

My daughter and I wanted to thank you for your kindness and service; it was excellent, everything was perfect. The kind people who served us made us feel so welcome. Thank you again. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. Thank you again for taking such good care of me and my daughter.

Always a wonderful time at the lovely Belle Époque brunch. The best part is the cold appetizers, cheeses, and breads. The hot dishes are lukewarm and the desserts aren't very refined.

Fantastic culinary experience, very friendly staff, and a beautiful, stylish interior. We will definitely be back!

La Belle Époque is primarily appealing for its setting: a magnificent Belle Époque dining room, elegant and welcoming, which alone is worth the trip. The establishment is also well-suited to families, with appealing children's menus and a convivial atmosphere. As for the food, the ribeye steak was of good quality, with flavorful meat, although the requested rare was cooked to medium-rare. The other dishes were adequate but nothing special, and it's a shame the plates were served cold. The wine list is quite extensive, but the prices are high. The main drawback, however, remains the service. Despite a large staff, the organization seems inefficient and the service is often lacking. We had to ask three times for two blankets, the glasses of wine arrived after a wait of more than 30 minutes, and our neighbors at the next table ended up pouring their own wine because the wait was so long. In summary, an address to discover primarily for its setting and Belle Époque atmosphere, more so than for the quality of the service or the cuisine.

The food was good, but the presentation lacked a bit of refinement for this level of establishment. The real downside was the service: our drinks only arrived after several reminders… while we were already eating our meals. It's truly disappointing in this type of place where the service is supposed to be impeccable. We mentioned this to the staff, but they didn't offer any compensation, which left a rather disappointing final impression despite the setting.

Located in the Normandy Hotel, this restaurant offers a luxurious setting, a friendly atmosphere, and top-notch service. We came for Sunday brunch and had a wonderful experience. The service begins with a glass of champagne included in the brunch, and then you can choose whatever you like from the all-you-can-eat buffet, which is of high quality and very diverse. It's a must-do if you're visiting Deauville.
