We wanted to eat some traditional french dishes, and Chez Monsieur was not far from where we stayed, so we went there for a lunch and it turned out to be the best choice we could have made! We ordered escargot, foie gras, blanquette de veau and bœuf bourgignon. Everything was beyond excellent! Our waitress was very kind and attentive. All in all it was one of the highlight of our trip. I will return for sure!

The onion soup and french fries were the best ever, and the steak was good as well. The employees were well trained, so polite and kind to me.

Very warm welcome, pleasant surroundings. We feel that the staff are passionate. The service is top notch.. We feel good, the food is really very good. This restaurant deserves a nice star. I highly recommend it.

I’m not French, but been in France on many occasions. This is the best onion soup and snails so far! Great service! So happy I picked exactly this French restaurant during my business trip to Paris!

A cheerful restaurant with a nice feel to it. We were greeted and seated promptly and service was very attentive. The food was good and prices reasonable. My criticism would be the pace of the meal. We were dining at 8pm and it felt like we were in a rush. The waiter hovered as we finished each course and the generous and frequent pouring of wine was clearly intended to get it finished. It was a good meal but a little rushed.

Charming bistro- as soon as we entered, we felt the good vibes! Excellent friendly service and great food. Tables well spaced from each other. Clearly a popular local place. Guests deeply engaged in positive conversations. We enjoyed the meal. Amazing snails, their sea bass is fresh, delightfully pan fried with a light crispy skin. The veal stew was not our cup of tea- dry n tough.

19/03/2024: Shh! If you want this restaurant to remain an enclave of tranquility in the neighborhood, don't mention it! Charming and no-frills place where you eat very well for a reasonable price with the sun and the view of the transept of Saint-Gervais too... What more could you ask for?
10/03/2024: It seems that most of the customers or at least a good portion are locals. Our experience confirms this good omen.
